Dolomite from Mycoterra is a mineral amendment, of natural origin, which has as its main component the double carbonate of calcium and magnesium.
Its basic character combats acidity and maintains soil pH at the desired level, establishing a more favorable environment for crop development and microbial activity. Its use stabilizes the pH range around 6.5, which is when most nutrients are at their maximum availability. This accelerates the decomposition of organic matter and the release of nutrients, improving soil structure. It also improves the harvest due to the synthesis of sugars, intensifies growth and provides greater resistance to drought, frost, insects or diseases.
Magnesium is the main component of chlorophyll, its deficiency is detrimental to crops and to the health of animals grazing in soils with low magnesium content.
