Mycoterra Blood Meal is an organic fertiliser with a high nitrogen content. Activator of balanced crop growth. A quick and balanced supply of nitrogen promotes and stimulates the physiological processes of plants.

In plants, most of the nitrogen is located in compounds of high molecular weight (proteins and nucleic acids). It is usually the macro-element that most frequently limits crop production. Nitrogen deficiency results in chlorosis of old leaves, with a decrease in biomass surface area.

Features

Blood Meal is a source of organic nitrogen, obtained from blood meal. Its nutritive elements are released gradually, covering the needs of the crop during its development.

Its application increases the photosynthetic rate and ensures the supply of nitrogen at critical moments of vegetative growth.

Its origin and manufacturing process means that its principles are not washed away by rainwater or prolonged irrigation, thus avoiding the loss of nutritive material and the contamination of groundwater.

Application and dosage

The most common form of incorporation is by direct application on the soil, and it is advisable to carry out a superficial burial.

Large crops: 500 to 2,000 kg per hectare depending on the crop, soil type, production objective, etc.

Orchards and small gardens: to prepare new orchards, apply 1 to 1.5 kg per 30 square metres and mix thoroughly on top (5-7 cm of soil). For new transplants, add 5 grams per hole, mix into the soil and water in well. For feeding established plants, apply 5-10 grams, depending on plant size and desired growth rate, once a month during the growth phase.

Outdoor containers: For new plantings, add 1 to 2 grams per litre of substrate and mix well. To feed established plants, apply 1 gram per litre of substrate to the soil surface once a month during the growing season.
